...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 6 PM CST MONDAY...
Sunday: A lack of cloud cover for much of the afternoon with the relatively high mid-Feb sun angle will likely allow our highs to reach the upper 30s. Nearly calm winds early will increase to 7-14 mph out of the south. Cloud cover will rapidly increase late this afternoon ahead of our after-midnight snow.
Extended: Guidance continues to suggest a 1"-2" light snow event for Lawrence late Sunday night/early Monday morning. By Monday afternoon, temperatures will rebound into in the middle 30s, so any white should become slushy/wet fairly quickly.
