Lawrence toddler to be featured on Jones Soda labels
LAWRENCE - Next time you pick up a bottle of Jones Soda, take a close look at the label. You might be looking at the face of a Lawrence boy.
Three year-old Cash McCoy was recently selected to be the face of the Seattle-based brand. The picture on the front of the orange-flavored pop shows Cash at a pool this summer, lifting a giant water gun. A friend of the family snapped the picture and submitted it to Jones for consideration. The company invites customers to post their photos on its website, and then the ones that get the most votes are mass produced.
Several stores around town did carry the brand, but today we could only find one store that still carries Jones Soda. You can pick up a bottle on aisle 17 at the 6th Street Dillon's. But you can't purchase the cash bottle in Lawrence just yet. You might have better luck in Canada.
