Power restored to KU Campus, mouse to blame

LAWRENCE - The University of Kansas experienced a power outage along the east side of the Lawrence campus.

Buildings affected included Bailey, Blake, Dyche, Fraser, Lippincott, Smith, Spooner, Twente and Wesley halls. The Spencer Museum, Watson library, Kansas Union, and all scholarship halls were also affected.

Power was restored to the campus by 2:50 p.m. University officials say a mouse caused an electrical short, which led to the outage.
